Liz Haglund is an assistant coach for boys and girls cross country.

Liz began her running career at Manchester Central High School in New Hampshire, where she was a three season varsity athlete all four years. Cross Country highlights include 2001 Footlocker Finalist where she finished 19th at the National Championship. She was the outdoor state champion in the Mile (2001) and the Outdoor National Champion in the 2000m Steeplechase (2001). She also anchored her teams’ DMR relay at the Indoor Track National Championship (2000).

Liz attended Villanova University and despite having numerous injuries during her collegiate career, she twice helped Villanova finish in the top 10 at the National Cross Country Championship (2002 and 2004), was the 2008 Big East Champion in the 3000m Steeplechase and finished 14th at the 2008 Outdoor Track National Championship

Liz has been coaching track and cross country for 6 years and has coached at Haverford High School since 2014, and she has earned the USATF Level One coaching certification. She is also an assistant track coach at Haverford Middle School. She is the proud mother of four and is married to J.B. Haglund, former NCAA cross country and track champion for Haverford College (and currently an assistant coach there).
